6 people trapped beneath the tube in Bengaluru are rescued

Bengaluru rain causes rescue

At the KR circle underpass, which is close to the Vidhana Soudha, the seat of the state government, a family of six from Hyderabad travelling in a car on Sunday became stranded in neck-deep water and needed to be rescued by fire and emergency services personnel.

A woman who was in the automobile is reportedly in critical condition.

She was transferred to a local hospital.

Sources claim that the car’s driver attempted to drive through the water without recognising how deep it was since it was stagnant.

The car, however, nearly sank as it came to the centre of the underpass.

When the panicked driver and passengers finally managed to exit the sinking car, the water level began rising as a result of the intense downpour.

People on the street came to the family’s aid as they began to call out for assistance.

To keep the family afloat, they hurled ropes and sarees.
