The freshly sworn-in Bihar administration appears to be in disarray as Janata Dal-United MLA Bima Bharti pokes fun at her party’s colleague and five-term legislator Leshi Singh, who was appointed as the minister of food and consumer protection.
After Singh was added to the cabinet on Tuesday for the third time as a minister, Bharti is reportedly upset at being left out.
“I’m disappointed with JD-U MLA Leshi Singh since she has consistently been selected for the cabinet. What does the CM perceive about her? She frequently gets involved in local incidents, which hurts the party’s reputation. Why do we not get noticed? Is it because we belong to a lower caste? asked Bima Bharti of the JD-U.
