A man spots the World’s Largest flower in Indonesia (Video)

Rafflesia arnoldii also known as Stinking corpse lily, the world’s largest flower, has no discernible leaves, stem, or roots.

This flower is unique in that it does not use photosynthesis to create its own nourishment.

This video went viral because it showed a man in the Indonesian bush discovering this enormous Rafflesia bloom.

There are five open petals on the crimson blossom. A magnified view of the flower’s heart is shown as the camera closes in on it.

The largest known Rafflesia was almost 3 feet broad and weighed 15 pounds.

The parasitic plant has no discernible leaves, stem, or roots. This flower is unique in that it does not use photosynthesis to create its own nourishment.
