The makers of “Adipurush,” an Om Raut-directed retelling of the Ramayana, said Monday that it had made Rs 340 crore at the international box office in just three days.On its third day of release, the movie starring Prabhas made Rs 100 crore worldwide, according to the production company T-Series.
“Adipurush has kept viewers of all ages spellbound, grossing an incredible Rs 340 crores in its first weekend at the box office! T-Series made a statement on its official Twitter page that read, “Jai Shri Ram.”
Saif Ali Khan plays Lankesh (Raavan), Kriti Sanon plays Janaki (Sita), and Prabhas plays Raghav (Ram). It is produced by T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar.
The multilingual 3D production, which debuted in theatres on Friday, received harsh criticism for its trite language.
Manoj Muntashir Shukla, the film’s Hindi dialogue writer, stated on Sunday that the producers had chosen to “revise some of the dialogues” and that the revised lines would be included in the movie by this week.
