Former BJP spokesman Nupur Sharma has found backing in Geert Wilders, a far-right leader from the Netherlands, amid a significant response from Islamic countries and a threat from terrorist organization al Qaeda over her words regarding Prophet Muhammad.
“Never give in to Islamic terrorists like Al Qaida because they represent savagery,” the Dutch MP said, urging Indians not to “give in to Islamic terrorists like Al Qaida.”
He also stated that Nupur Sharma was telling the truth when she made the remarks, calling the Islamic countries’ outrage “ridiculous.”
“There is no such thing as appeasement. It will exacerbate the situation. So, my Indian friends, don’t be afraid of islamic countries. In a second tweet, he stated, “Stand up for freedom and be proud and resolute in your defense of your politician #NupurSharma [sic].”

He referred to the protesting countries as “hypocrites,” claiming that they lacked democracy, the rule of law, or freedom, and that they “persecuted minorities and violated human rights like no one else.”
Geert Wilders is a Dutch far-right politician. He founded the Party for Freedom, the country’s third-largest political party, and has served as its House leader since 1998. Wilders is well-known for his anti-Islamic sentiments.
