Anant Ambani and Mukesh Ambani contribute ₹ 25 Crore for Assam flood relief

To help those suffering from the disastrous floods in Assam, industrialist Mukesh Ambani and his son Anant contributed ₹ 25 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

The Managing Director of Reliance Industries Limited was praised by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for the kindness.

“My sincere appreciation to Mukesh and Anant Ambani for supporting the Assamese people at this pivotal time by contributing ₹ 25 crore to the CM Relief Fund. We value your thoughtful action. This will significantly improve our flood relief efforts, “Tweeted he.

The Dalai Lama, a spiritual leader from Tibet, is among the well-known figures who have contributed to the relief effort.

Oil India Limited contributed ₹ 5 crore, and the Dalai Lama gave ₹ 10 lakh from his Gaden Phodrang Trust.

Bhushan Kumar, the owner and producer of T-series, donated ₹ 11 lakh, and famed musician Sonu Nigam gave ₹ 5 lakh to the CMRF.
