A brief trailer for Avatar: The Way of Water, the follow-up to Avatar, was ultimately unveiled in May by director James Cameron.
The preview, which lasted 105 seconds, promised to be a visual extravaganza.
In the eagerly anticipated film, Ronal, a Na’vi warrior, will be portrayed by Kate Winslet.
The cover of Empire magazine recently debuted Kate Winslet’s first appearance as Ronal. Fans were impressed by her initial appearance as a Na’vi warrior.
Ronal, the Na’vi warrior, has a fiery appearance thanks to Kate’s large eyes and canine teeth. Ronal has tattoos all over his body and face, and unlike in the original Avatar movie, his eyes are blue rather than yellow.
Kate was briefly visible in the brief preview that was published in May. Nothing else was disclosed, though. Her first public appearance as a Na’vi has therefore aroused everyone’s curiosity.
After 26 years, Kate and James Cameron got back together for Avatar: The Way of Water.
The last time the two collaborated was on the film Titanic. In order to do the underwater scenes in the sequel to Avatar, Kate had to learn how to free-dive and hold her breath for more than seven minutes.
When discussing her persona, Winslet commented, “She is strong. a fighter. She nevertheless stands with her people and defends what she values most: her family and their home, despite the fact that she is in severe danger and has an unborn child on board.
Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaa, CCH Pounder, Kate Winslet, Sigourney Weaver, and Stephen Lang are among the cast members in James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way of Water. The movie will be shown in theaters that day, December 16, 2022.
