Azam Khan: I’ll ponder why I’ve become a vessel for hatred

Azam Khan, a Samajwadi Party leader recently released from Sitapur district jail on suspicion of cheating, said he plans to reflect on how he came to be such a hate-filled vessel.

The SP leader explained that he had been in prison for a long time, so he had no idea what was going on outside of the SP and therefore had no interest in it.

“I spent a long time in prison and have no idea what has transpired politically.” I’m sure there were some internal pressures (for SP). I don’t have any complaints, but I wish things had changed. “I will ponder where I went wrong in my loyalty, hard work, and sincerity,” Khan said in an interview with ANI.

After the Supreme Court granted him bail in an alleged case of cheating on Thursday, the Samajwadi Party leader was released from Sitapur district jail on Friday. Rampur police station granted him bail in a case of cheating lodged against him.

As a result of the lengthy delay in announcing a decision on Khan’s bail application, the Supreme Court has expressed its displeasure and called it a “travesty of justice.”

Khan was granted bail last week by the Allahabad High Court in the case of wrongful possession of land.

In light of the numerous cases that have been filed against Khan, he has been housed in the Sitapur jail since February 2020.
