Olympic bronze medalist Bajrang Punia agreed to a narco-analysis test on Monday in order to determine the veracity of wrestlers’ sexual harassment claims against WFI president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, the WFI chief stated that he is prepared to show up for a polygraph or narco-analysis test to demonstrate his innocence.
I’m willing to take a drug test, a polygraph test, or a lie detector test, but only if Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia agree to do the same. If both wrestlers agree, call a press conference and announce it. I promise them that I’m ready for the test.
Bajrang responded by saying, “We are prepared to take the drug test, but we would also like him (Brij Bhushan) to take the test under the supervision of the Supreme Court and with live streaming on national television.”
At the Jantar Mantar protest site, where he was seated with Sakshi Malik and Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang said, “We would like to see what questions are being asked. He has asked for Narco Tests of Vinesh and myself. I am saying why only two of us but also all those girls who have filed complaints should also undergo Narco Test.”
According to Vinesh, the entire nation ought to be aware of the type of injustice they have been subjected to for many years.
“The entire nation ought to be aware of the injustice and atrocities we experienced.”
Bajrang appeared irate because some media are extolling Brij Bhushan, and he pleaded with them not to.
Please treat him as such since he is a sexual harassment accuser and not a celebrity, Vinesh said.
Another round of the protesting wrestlers’ candlelight march from Jantar Mantar to India Gate will take place.
