Box Office for ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ surpasses Rs 100 crore

The makers of the horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, announced on Sunday that the film has grossed more than Rs 100 crore in India.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, the sequel to the Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan-starrer psychological horror comedy of the same name, was released on May 20 to excellent reviews and an impressive weekend revenue of over Rs 55 crore.

According to the makers, the Anees Bazmee-directed picture earned Rs 11.35 crore on its second Saturday, bringing the total to Rs 109.92 crore.

Bhool Bhulaiya 2 also stars Tabu and is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani.

After Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi (Rs 129 crore) and The Kashmir Files (Rs 100 crore), the film has become the third Hindi film of the year to break the 100 crore milestone (Rs 252 crore).
