BrahMos misfiring led to the dismissal of 3 IAF officers

According to the Indian Air Force, three officials have been principally held accountable for the BrahMos missile misfiring event on March 9, 2022.

The central government has immediately terminated their services, and the officers have been served with termination orders today, August 23, according to the IAF.

Three officers—a group captain, a wing commander, and a squadron leader—have had their employment terminated.

According to the IAF, the commanders’ deviation from conventional operational procedures caused the missile to be accidentally fired.
