Centre to review Covid vaccine program with the help of all of the states

On Friday, Rajesh Bhushan, the Union Health Secretary, will review the country’s vaccination program for coronavirus with all the states and territories, according to sources familiar with the matter.

Today, India’s COVID vaccination coverage totaled 191.79 crores, according to data from the Union Ministry of Health. On March 16, 2022, the 12- to 14-year-old age group began receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. The first dose of the COVID vaccine has already been administered to more than 3.22 million adolescents in India.

Precautionary doses for the 18-59-year-old age group began on April 10, 2022, as well. With 2,364 new cases in the last 24 hours, the country has seen a slight increase in coronavirus infections. At the moment, there are 15,419 active cases in India. The country has a daily optimism rate of 50%.
