Vijay Mallya, a disgraced billionaire who formerly owned the Royal Challengers Bangalore team in the Indian Premier League, posted a photo of himself and Gayle on Twitter on Wednesday.
The IPL team RCB honoured the West Indies opener, along with former South African hitter A B de Villiers, into their Hall of Fame for their outstanding performance over the years.

He also made the greatest individual score in IPL history while playing for RCB, smashing a spectacular 175 not out.
He also played for Punjab Kings after his time with RCB. He didn’t register for the super auction before the IPL 2022, though.
