Dark chocolate, beans & onions may help in improving memory

Dark chocolate

According to research, foods high in flavanols, such as dark chocolate, beans, onions, and blackberries, are beneficial for improving memory.

According to a study that was published in the PNAS, eating foods high in flavanols, a nutrient found in some fruits and vegetables, may help to improve your memory.

Red wine, green and black tea, dark chocolate, beans, onions, and fruits including blackberries, cherries, and apples all contain flavanols.

The results of the study, which involved 3,562 older persons who received flavanol supplements for three years and underwent annual memory tests, showed that there was a 16% improvement in memory after taking the supplements.
