On June 10, Jurassic World Dominion, directed by Colin Trevorrow, opened in theatres all across the world.
It is the third Jurassic World instalment and the sixth movie overall in the Jurassic Park series. With $143.4 million in North American ticket sales, the movie is doing exceptionally well at the global box office.
The movie made $389 million in just three days, with over $250 million in worldwide revenue. The Chris Pratt-led movie has reportedly surpassed the $400 million mark, according to trade estimates.
Both fans and critics gave Jurassic World Dominion positive reviews.
Additionally, it’s doing well at the box office. Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum all returned to their roles from the first Jurassic Park movie for the sequel, which takes place three years after the original.
Universal Pictures has marketed the movie. Jim Orr, the head of domestic distribution at Universal, said in a statement, “We couldn’t be happier.”
He continued, “Jurassic World: Dominion has a tremendously wide and absurdly enthusiastic audience. The movie has made $400 million at the box office, according to trade estimates, in just five days. Samrat Prithviraj, starring Akshay Kumar, is facing stiff competition in India thanks to it.”
