Deepika Padukone skips red carpet to attend a Louis Vitton dinner party
At the 75th Cannes Film Festival, Bollywood star Deepika Padukone continues to dazzle her admirers with her sense of style.
While Deepika was absent from the Cannes red carpet on the fourth day of the festival, she made a stylish appearance at Vanity Fair and Louis Vuitton’s formal dinner party in Cannes.
She wore a Louis Vitton dress to dinner. Her outfit consisted of a dress and a beige jacket. A pair of boots like those she wore to the jury dinner completed her look.
This is the first time that Deepika has chosen a color other than red for her Cannes 2022 ensemble. As a juror on this year’s Palme d’Or judging panel, the actor will help select the winner.
Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone’s husband and fellow actor, will be joining her at the festival soon.
Deepika shared a video from Cannes in which she was asked if she was tired from all the work she had to do at the festival. “It’s a different kind of tired,” she said. As if you were going to bed with a smile on your face.
Deepika had stated at the inauguration of the India pavilion at Cannes 2022 that India has the potential to offer much more than the few Indian talents that have represented the country at Cannes. “As a country, I believe we have it.
We have the talent, the ability, and I believe that we just need that conviction. After a few years, “I truly believe that Cannes (the film festival) in India will become a reality,” she said.
