Delhi HC: Manish Sisodia denied the bail in excise policy scam case

Manish Sisodia, the leader of the AAP, is denied bail in the CBI’s excise policy scam case by the Delhi High Court.

According to the HC, there is a very real chance that witnesses could be affected by the claims against Sisodia. The order was given by Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) informed Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on May 6 that Manish Sisodia, the current accused, is claimed to have engaged in criminal activity that resulted in proceeds of crime of around 622 crore.

The hard copy of the supplemental charge sheet has been filed, ED informed the court. The federal agency filed an additional charge sheet against Manish Sisodia in the Delhi Excise policy case on May 4 of this year.
