DGCA halts Go First flights for next 3 days

After reviewing Go First’s answer, DGCA said it has issued an order under the applicable laws instructing the airline to pay reimbursements to customers within the time frames specified under those rules.

Customers who have already purchased tickets for Go First flights will receive a full refund or alternative travel arrangements.

Until May 15th, ticket sales for Go First events will be on hold.All Go First flights are cancelled till 5/9/2023.

Crisis-hit To prevent lessors from reclaiming aircraft and the regulator DGCA from taking any action against Go First, the airline has filed for several interim instructions with the National Company Law Tribunal.

On Thursday, the Delhi bench of the NCLT will hear the voluntary insolvency resolution processes petition filed by the Wadia group-owned airline, which has liabilities of Rs 11,463 crore.

As of Wednesday, May 3rd, all Go First flights are cancelled for the next three days.
