When his ex-wife Amber Heard published an opinion piece about her experience as a victim of domestic violence, Johnny Depp supposedly lost his job as Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean movie series.
The actor had already sued her for slander, which he just prevailed in. And now, four years after Disney severed ties with Depp, the studio has restored his image after a jury found in his favour.
Currently, fans are predicting that Johnny Depp will return for Pirates of the Caribbean 6.
Just four days after Amber Heard’s op-ed in The Washington Post was out in 2018, Disney had cut ties with Johnny Depp.
Disney projected the actor’s likeness as Jack Sparrow onto the castle at Disneyland Paris after the actor defeated Amber in court.

Depp can be seen in a Pirates of the Caribbean exhibit in photos and videos posted on social media. As Depp’s face emerges on the screen in the viral footage, you can also hear applause from the audience.
It is followed by a quote from him that appears in the movie.
The series’ theme tune was playing as more Johnny movie sequences were displayed.
Fireworks and fountains were also used in the light display. Disney hasn’t utilised Johnny as Jack in the light show since 2018; this is the first time.
