Gadar: Ek Prem Katha to be re-released on June 2 in theatres

Gadar: Ek Prem Katha

On June 2, the movie “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha,” starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, will be re-released in theatres.

According to rumours, Sunny and the film’s director Anil Sharma are organising a huge premiere in Mumbai, Lucknow, Indore, and Jaipur.

According to a source close to the production team, the re-release of Gadar will be just as successful as the 2001 debut of the initial movie.

In four important Indian cities—Mumbai, Lucknow, Indore, and Jaipur—the team will organise a sizable premiere. Gadar’s re-release will also herald the start of the publicity campaign for Gadar 2’s August 11 release.

The source continued, “There is a generation that has heard about Gadar but perhaps hasn’t felt the pleasure of the big screen. The purpose of the re-release is to reacquaint the Gen-Z audience with the brand.

The 1971 India-Pakistan War serves as the setting for “Gadar 2.” For his son Jeete, who is portrayed by Utkarsh, Tara Singh will be seen crossing into Pakistan in this sequel. On June 9, ‘Gadar 2’ is anticipated to release a teaser. On August 11, the film will be released in theatres.
