Haris Rauf: Virat Kohli can’t do that again

During India and Pakistan’s match, Pakistan’s Haris Rauf said that Virat Kohli might not be able to perform the same shot he did to hit the pacer for a six during the T20 World Cup.

On October 23rd, when these bitter rivals met at the historic MCG, Pakistan made 159 runs in their allotted 20 overs before they were bowled out for just 81. When India lost four wickets for only 31 runs, they were in deep trouble.

Then, with four wickets remained, Kohli turned back the clock to play one of the greatest innings in tournament history, helping India win by an innings and a half. The top batter hit six fours and four sixes in his inning, scoring 82 runs.

Kohli’s back-to-back sixes off Rauf were a key moment in the game, especially the first one since it was so spectacular.

During an episode of the hit Pakistani show “Hasna Mana Hai,” a viewer asked Rauf about the infamous “six.” As reported by NDTV, the Pakistani pacer admitted that the six hit him hard.

Rauf continued by stating that he believes such shots are relatively rare, thus it’s possible Kohli will fail to pull it off once again. It was noted by the pacer that the Indian superstar had impeccable timing.

“Seeing it go for a six was obviously painful. I kept my mouth shut, but the hurt was real. Something had gone awry, or so I thought. The calibre of his play in cricket is well-known to those who follow the sport. He’s already taken that swing; he probably can’t do it again. There aren’t many opportunities to hit such targets, and when you do, you can’t repeat the shot. A six was the result of his impeccable timing “as Rauf put it.
