Nepalese Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, also known as “Prachanda,” arrived in New Delhi on Wednesday to begin a four-day visit to India.
He was welcomed with open arms by Union Minister Meenakshi Lekhi when he arrived.
“Nepal’s new prime minister, @cmprachanda, makes his first abroad trip since taking office by landing in New Delhi. At the airport, I was cordially received by MoS @M_Lekhi. The close and special relationship between India and Nepal will gain new momentum as a result of the visit, according to Arindam Bagchi, the MEA’s official spokesperson.
During his visit, the prime minister of Nepal will also meet with vice president Jagdeep Dhankhar and president Droupadi Murmu.
He will visit Ujjain and Indore in addition to his formal commitments during his trip.
