In one day: India records 1,675 Covid instances, with 31 deaths

According to data released on Tuesday by the Union Health Ministry, India’s COVID-19 case count grew by 1,675 to 4,31,40,068, while the number of active infections increased marginally to 14,841.

According to figures updated at 8 a.m., the death toll has risen to 5,24,490, with 31 fatalities reported from Kerala.

Active cases were for 0.03 percent of total infections, while the national Covid recovery rate was 98.75 percent, according to the health ministry.

According to the ministry, the daily positivity rate was 0.41 percent and the weekly positivity rate was 0.49 percent.
