In Pulwama J-K, a fight breaks out between security forces and terrorists

On Sunday, security personnel and militants clashed in the Pulwama area of Jammu & Kashmir, according to authorities.

Security forces conducted a cordon and search operation in the Gundipora area of Pulwama in south Kashmir after receiving specific information regarding the presence of terrorists, according to a police official.

According to him, the search operation devolved into an altercation as terrorists opened fire on security forces members, prompting retribution.

According to the official, the exchange of fire is still ongoing, and no casualties have been reported on any side thus far.
