Indian Army catches 3 Terrorists in Poonch, J&K

Three terrorists were hurt during their attempt to cross the border, according to officials, as the Indian Army on Wednesday prevented a significant terrorist infiltration attempt at the Line of Control (LoC) in the Karmarha sector of Poonch.

“Troops from the Indian Army wounded three terrorists who were trying to sneak along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Karmarha area and were carrying weapons and drugs. The area is the focus of the search effort,” according to Army sources.

Dr. Ishfaq of the District Hospital in Poonch reports that Mohd Farooq, age 28, has a bullet wound to his left thigh but is otherwise in good health.

He was brought by the police at 7:15 in the morning.The identities of the two further injured terrorists are yet unknown.

They said, “A search operation is underway in the area.” More information is awaited.
