J-K Governor Manoj Sinha meets Umran Malik

Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, met pace sensation Umran Malik in Jammu on Tuesday evening and promised that the Union Territory’s government would take care of his training and other needs.

After participating in the Indian Premier League, Umran won his first call-up for the national squad for the upcoming five-match T20 International home series against South Africa, which begins on June 9.

During the day, a big number of eager young people came to his Malik Market residence and took selfies with him. He was also seen waving to the spectators from his house’s balcony.

Umran took 21 wickets in 13 games for the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL, but it’s his ability to consistently bowl at 95 miles per hour that has piqued the nation’s interest, prompting calls for his quick inclusion in top-flight cricket.

The entire country is ecstatic (of Umran). Outside Umran’s residence, Sinha informed reporters that the government would take care of his training and other needs.
