J-K LG talks with the family of Amreen Bhatt who was slain by terrorists

Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, met with the family members of TV actress Amreen Bhatt, who was assassinated by militants last week, on Sunday and assured them of all possible help.

On May 25, three Lashkar-e-Tayiba terrorists shot and killed Bhat and her 10-year-old nephew at her home in Budgam district’s Chadoora.

“I visited Amreen Bhat’s family at their Budgam abode. “She was a strong-willed woman and a rock for her family,” Sinha wrote on Twitter.

He stated that the administration will assist and support the family in any way possible.

“We will always remember Amreen’s unwavering spirit,” he continued.

On May 26, two of the terrorists responsible for Bhat’s murder were killed in an encounter with security forces in the Aganhanzipora village of Pulwama district’s Awantipora sector.
