At the movie theatres, Jurassic Park is a must-see. A significant step forward was made in the most recent instalment. Deadline claims that since its release in the summer, Jurassic World Dominion has made over $1 billion.

After being postponed because of COVID-19, Dominion finally made it to theatres in June. Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum all worked together for Jurassic World. Advertisements for the sequel stressed that it will be the final instalment in the Jurassic Park franchise. Since it was so well received, Universal is considering making a sequel.

The previous two Jurassic World movies released by Universal, in 2015 and 2018, both grossed over $1 billion. It was only after the first Jurassic Park movie’s 20th anniversary re-release in 2013 that it was able to overcome this obstacle, too. Other follow-ups also bombed. With a $618.6 million worldwide total, Jurassic Park: The Lost World was a huge financial success upon its 1997 release. The 2001 instalment of Jurassic Park made $368.8 million at the box office.
