Lakshya Sen knocked out of Indonesia Masters Quarter Final

Lakshya Sen was knocked out in the quarter-finals of the Indonesia Masters following a courageous fight against World No. 4 Chen Chou (Chou Chen) in the quarter-finals of the Indonesia Masters.

Lakshya Sen’s campaign at the Indonesia Masters 2022 came to a close on Friday, June 10 when he lost to World No. 4 Chou Tien Chen in the men’s singles quarter-final.

Lakshya put up a spirited fight against the Taiwanese shuttler, but he lost the match at the historic Istora in Jakarta, which lasted an hour and two minutes.

After losing the first game, Lakshya Sen rallied to force a tiebreaker. The Indian shuttler, on the other hand, struggled with drift from one end of the court, and eventually lost the match 16-21, 21-12, 14-21.

Lakshya saved three match points, but his cross-court smash sailed wide, bringing the hard-fought battle in Istora to a close.

This was Lakshya’s first competition following winning the Thomas Cup, as she had taken a sabbatical and missed the Thailand Open.
