Mark Wahlberg celebrates wife Rhea Durham, late mom Alma with pictures on Mother's Day

Los Angeles, May 12 (IANS) Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg is celebrating Mother’s Day with two “special moms”.

On Sunday, the actor (52) shared a sweet post that celebrated his wife Rhea Durham (45) and his late mother, Alma Wahlberg, who died in 2021 at age 78.

The actor wrote in his caption alongside the carousel of images, “Happy Mother’s Day. Miss you mom. Love you babe @byrheawahlberg,” reports ‘People’ magazine.

The post included photos of Mark with his late mom, his wife and the couple’s two sons, Brendan (15) and Michael (18) and daughters Ella (20) and Grace (14).

In the first shot, the family posed together in a photo that appeared to have been taken at Alma’s 75th birthday celebrations. A second shot showed them all together, smiling as they sat on a couch.

As per ‘People’, Mark’s final photo showed his wife surrounded by their four children outside as they appeared to be enjoying a day together in the sun.

In April, Durham proudly took to her Instagram to share a photo of her with her husband and their son together on vacation. In the picture, Durham is wearing a floral dress while the boys sport T-shirts and hats. She also has one arm around Wahlberg and the other around Brendan.

Mumbai, May 29 (IANS) Actor Aparshakti Khurana, who has teamed up with singer Savi Kahlon for the new love ballad ‘Zaroor’ shared how the track allowed him to explore new dimensions as an artist.

‘Zaroor’ is the soulful ballad, penned and composed by Savi and backed by the soothing vocals of Aparkshakti. It embraces the bittersweet symphony of memories, giving the courage to find yourself again.

Reflecting on the collaboration, singer-actor, Aparshakti shared: “Working on ‘Zaroor’ has been a different and a fulfilling experience. Savi’s lyrics and composition hit home, allowing me to explore new dimensions as an artist.”

“From the very first moment I heard the composition, I felt an instant connection. With ‘Zaroor’ I am sure you’ll feel every note of this heartfelt harmony that we have created,” shared Aparshakti, who is known for his tracks ‘Balle Ni Balle’, and ‘Kudiye Ni’.

Known for his viral track, ‘Apa Fer Milaangey’, Savi expressed: “Creating ‘Zaroor’ with Apar has been a whirlwind of emotions. His soulful vocals have elevated the feel of this track.”

'Angaaron’ from ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ oozes chemistry between Allu Arjun, Rashmika

Mumbai, May 29 (IANS) The second single ‘Angaaron (The Couple Song)’ from the highly-anticipated upcoming movie ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ was released on Wednesday. The video of the song stars National Award-winning actor Allu Arjun as Pushparaj and actress Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli.

The song, composed by National Award-winning music director Devi Sri Prasad, has been crooned by Shreya Ghoshal

The video gives a glimpse into actual sets of the film with a palpable chemistry between Allu and Rashmika. Director Sukumar can also be seen enjoying shooting this song and dancing to the choreographer Ganesh Acharya’s notes with rest of the cast and crew.

The lyrics of the song incorporate the words “Sami” and “Srivalli”, the titles of the chartbuster songs from the first installment of the film.

The track has been released in six different languages: Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Bengali.

The lyrical video features catchy hook steps that are sure to rule the Instagram Reels. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is directed by Sukumar and also stars Fahadh Faasil.

Mumbai, May 29 (IANS) Actress Simran Khanna, who has joined the new cast of the show ‘Udaariyaan’ has shared her rituals and routine that she follows in between the shots, saying she creates her own vibe and engages in skincare sessions.

Simran, who is essaying the role of Aasma in the show which has taken a 15-year leap, shared: “On my first day of shooting, I give time to myself to understand the set and the team. I don’t want to work in pressure because I love my work. I can’t work well with pressure.”

“The vibes matter a lot to me. So I create my vibe. And I look forward to it going well till I work and I make people around me happy. I have rituals to meet and greet people and follow up with my religious routine,” said the ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ fame actress.

She further said: “I engage myself in skincare routines, household activities following up with my religious routines. I don’t want it to be a regular normal day. I add my twists and turns to have a fun time in between my shots.”

Da’Vine Joy Randolph joins Miles Teller, Elizabeth Olsen in rom-com ‘Eternity’

Los Angeles, May 29 (IANS) Oscar-winning actress Da’Vine Joy Randolph has been roped in to star in the upcoming romantic comedy ‘Eternity’.

Directed by David Freyne, the film also stars Miles Teller, Elizabeth Olsen and Callum Turner, reports Variety.

This project marks Randolph’s first feature film with A24 Production. The plot of ‘Eternity’ remains under wraps, but it is described as a romantic comedy in which characters must decide who they want to spend eternity with.

As per Variety, A24 is financing the film and partnering with Oscar-nominated producers Trevor White and Tim White under their production company Star Thrower Entertainment.

Olsen and Teller will also serve as executive producers. ‘Eternity’ is set to begin production this summer.

Randolph gained widespread attention with her breakout role on Broadway as psychic Oda Mae Brown in 2012’s ‘Ghost: The Musical’, earning a Tony Award nomination. The role led to memorable film performances, including ‘Dolemite Is My Name’ with Eddie Murphy and ‘The Lost City’ alongside Sandra Bullock.

The Philadelphia-born actress captured hearts and critical acclaim with her role as a grieving cafeteria manager in Alexander Payne’s ‘The Holdovers’, earning over 70 critics’ prizes and winning the Best Supporting Actress Oscar.

She will also be in the running for her first Emmy nod in the guest comedy actress category for her role as Detective Donna Williams on the third season of Hulu’s mystery comedy ‘Only Murders in the Building’.

Suparn Varma of 'The Family Man' fame teams up with Vinod Bhanushali for 3-film deal

Mumbai, May 29 (IANS) Director-writer Suparn S Varma, who is known for ‘The Family Man’, ‘Rana Naidu’ and ‘The Trial’, has inked a 3-film deal with Vinod Bhanushali.

The two had earlier collaborated on ‘Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai’ starring Manoj Bajpayee which was also creatively produced by Suparn. The director will take the reins of an upcoming film, which is currently in the pre-production stage. The film, produced by Bhanushali Studios Limited, is set to go on floors early next year. Further details about the cast and crew will be announced soon.

Talking about the partnership, Suparn said: “I am excited to join forces with Bhanushali Studios Limited, a studio that is synonymous with excellence and creativity. Together, we aim to create films that resonate with audiences and leave a lasting impact just like ‘Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai’ did.”
