Mihambo retains World long jump gold (Video)

Malaika Mihambo, the Olympic champion from Germany, maintained her lead in the women’s long jump by winning gold at the World Championships two years in a row with a final leap of 7.12 meters.

Ese Brume, a Nigerian who also won the bronze medal at the Olympics and the World Championships, won silver with a leap of 7.02 meters, and Leticia Oro Melo, a Brazilian, won bronze with a leap of 6.89 meters.
