Modi’s flags off Vande Bharat Express in Gandhinagar, Gujarat

The Gandhinagar–Mumbai Vande Bharat Express was officially unveiled by Narendra Modi on Friday.

Phase I of the Ahmedabad Metro train and other projects totaling Rs 7,200 crore are scheduled to be unveiled on Friday.

At 10:25 a.m., Modi began his Vande Bharat Express campaign. He took the train from Gandhinagar to the Kalupur stop in Ahmedabad.

According to a press statement from the state government, the Prime Minister will launch the massive Ahmedabad Metro project’s phase-1 from the Kalupur station.

After giving a speech in Kalupur at noon, he will ride the metro to the Doordarshan Centre in Thaltej.

The PM will be kicking off many initiatives in the Banaskantha district tonight during a visit to Ambaji. Following his address, he will offer aarti prayers at the Ambaji temple.

Assembly elections are scheduled for Modi’s home state of Gujarat before the end of the year, and the ruling BJP is pulling out all the stops to maintain control.
