Nadal confirms his wife is pregnant with first child

Mery Perello, wife of tennis player Rafael Nadal, is expecting their first child.

In a crucial press conference on Friday, Nadal stated his intention to attempt to compete at Wimbledon in two weeks. Before playing in the SW19, the Spanish sensation will spend a week in London with the goal of winning his third major of the year.

The announcement follows heated rumors that Nadal’s childhood sweetheart, who started dressing more loosely and donning a mask at the recent Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid, was pregnant.
