President Pranab enjoys a lovely stroll across Mughal Gardens

The Mughal Gardens at the Rashtrapati Bhavan reopened this Sunday, so that people could see the beautiful roses named after ‘Abraham Lincoln’, ‘Christian Dior’ , ‘Queen Elizabeth’ and of course our very own President Pranab Mukherjee and his wife, Suvra Mukherjee.

The garden has around 140 different breeds of rose named after world famous celebrities like Lincoln and John F Kennedy, first Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, legendary French fashion designer Christian Dior, and Mahabharat characters Arjun and Bhim. Also there are varieties called ‘Taj Mahal’ and ‘Eiffel.’

Also this is the first time that you can see a flower named after India’s President Pranab Mukherjee and his wife, Suvra Mukherjee.

The Mughal Gardens will remain open till March 12, so hurry up and enjoy your leisurely stroll across the gardens.
