Raj Thackeray, the leader of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to swiftly implement the Uniform Civil Code in India.

Raj Thackeray said in Pune, “I request the prime minister to bring the Uniform Civil Code and a law on population control as soon as possible and change the name of Aurangabad to Sambhajinagar.”

Two days ago, I tweeted about delaying my visit to Ayodhya because of the ongoing violence.

“I purposefully made the statement so that everyone could express their thoughts and opinions on it. Some people were trying to catch me in this controversy by opposing my Ayodhya visit, but I decided not to,” said MNS chief.
