The number one ranked T20 player in the world, batting for the Mumbai Indians, reached his first IPL century off the penultimate ball of the innings with some bold strokes.
He produced a brilliant innings that included 11 fours and six sixes, providing plenty of excitement for his family in the MI box.

The twilight sky was illuminated by @surya_14kumar. His six over third man off @MdShami11 was the shot that stuck out to me, but he played well throughout the innings. Not many hitters in the world of cricket can play that shot, and the way he opened the face of the bat to produce the angle off the blade at the same time is extremely difficult, as seen by the heart emoji that accompanied Tendulkar’s tweet.
