Olympic medalist Sakshi Malik stated on Saturday that protesting wrestlers won’t compete in the Asian Games until their “issues get resolved” about former Wrestling Federation of India chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh’s alleged sexual harassment.

We won’t take part in the Asian Games until all of these problems are resolved. At the Mahapanchayat held today in Sonipat, Haryana, Sakshi Malik said, “You can’t grasp what we’re going through mentally every day.

Asian Games 2023 will be held in China in the upcoming September; however, wrestlers’ removal from the competition could have a significant impact on India, as Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat won gold at the most recent Asian Games in 2018.

Olympic athlete Bajrang Punia stated earlier this morning that they would present their conversations with the administration to the Mahapanchayat participants before them.

Punia said ANI, “We will discuss whatever discussions we had with the administration with the people who are standing with us.
