Second orbit-raising manoeuvre for Chandrayaan-3 was successful

The Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft’s second orbit-raising manoeuvre (Earth-bound apogee firing) was completed successfully by the Indian Space Research Organisation.

The national space agency with its headquarters in Bengaluru announced on Monday that the spacecraft was currently in an orbit measuring 41603 km by 226 km.

It stated that the following shooting is scheduled on Tuesday between 2 and 3 pm.

On July 14, the Chandrayaan-3 lunar mission was launched.
