Sena’s Priyanka Chaturvedi is angry over AIMIM MP’s remarks
On Saturday, Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi condemned AIMIM MP Imtiaz Jaleel’s remark that “Nupur Sharma should be hanged,” calling it disgraceful and condemnable. “As a responsible spokesperson, the least he can do is calm the situation rather than fan it further,” Chaturvedi remarked on Twitter.
“Nupur Sharma should be hanged,” AIMIM MP Imtiaz Jaleel remarked on Friday. Such things will not stop if she is permitted to let go gently.” He also stated that legislation should be enacted to punish those who make such remarks.
Protests have erupted across the country in response to Nupur Sharma’s remarks about the Prophet Muhammad.
