Police in Prayagraj have issued wanted posters for Shaista Parveen, the widow of deceased mobster Atiq Ahmed, as well as Guddu Muslim and Sabir, two of Atiq Ahmed’s closest associates.
Officials say that a reward of Rs 50,000 has been set up in the name of Shaista Parveen by the police in Uttar Pradesh. The police have not been successful in locating Parveen and the other two suspects. Officials worry that if this happens, people may try to flee the nation.
As a result, the police have issued “lookout” alerts for all three of them. The government of Uttar Pradesh reportedly received a report on the matter from the Prayagraj Police Department earlier.
This led to the issuance of an international arrest warrant to prohibit their departure from the country. There will be a 12-month notice period.
