Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, is in New Delhi today for a gathering of non-BJP parties that she called to develop a common strategy for the forthcoming presidential election.
Banerjee, who is also the leader of the Trinamool Congress, wrote to 22 chief executives and opposition figures last week to invite them to the meeting on June 15 at the Constitution Club in the nation’s capital.
