The eagerly anticipated film “Thuramukham,” starring actor Nivin Pauly, has finally been given a release date.
The actor himself made the significant revelation via his own Instagram account. The “Premam” actor added, “All Labor that uplifts humanity has dignity,” along with a new movie poster.
Fans who were eager to learn the newly scheduled release date for the highly anticipated Rajeev Ravi film soon swamped the page with comments.
Thuramukham, billed as a political time-travel thriller, represents the first time director Rajeev Ravi and cinematographer Nivin Pauly have worked together.
Indrajith Sukumaran, Sudev Nair, and Biju Menon will all play significant roles in the ambitious film in addition to Nivin Pauly.
In the film, Nimisha Sajayan, who has won a Kerala State Film Award, plays the female lead opposite Nivin Pauly.
The story of “Thuramukham” is based on the workers’ fight against the “Chappa” system, which was prevalent in Kochi’s Mattancherry harbor in the 1940s and 1950s. Gopan Chidambaram, the son of KN Chidambaram, wrote the screenplay for the film.
