HD Kumaraswamy, a former chief minister of Karnataka, stated on Monday that Janata Dal-Secular was never thought of as a member of the opposition and that his party would not join any opposition alliance.
Additionally, he said that his party had not received an invitation from the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance for a meeting on July 18. There is therefore no question about JD(S) being a member of any Mahagathbandhan, according to him.
In response to a question regarding the opposition parties’ meeting in Bengaluru on July 17–18, he stated that the NDA had not invited his party to any meetings and that they would look into it. On that front, we’ll see, Kumaraswamy remarked.
The JD-S leader criticised the Congress government in Karnataka and claimed it has put up banners along the roadways “boasting about its achievements.” He claimed Mahagathbandhan management are delusional and believe that “JD-S is drowned.”
