Raghav Sachar's take on composing music: 'Making songs is easier than background scores'

Published

By

Mumbai, May 17 (IANS) Singer Raghav Sachar, who composed music and created the background score for the live-action drama ‘Chhota Bheem and the Curse of Damyaan’ feels that making songs is an easier job rather than creating background score as it is a very lengthy process.

At the trailer launch on Friday, Raghav was asked how difficult it was to compose music and give the background score for the movie.

He said: “It was very challenging. There is so much happening in the film. There are so many themes which are unlike any other film. There is adventure so we had to take the music and background score a notch higher this time. I feel making songs is an easier job rather than creating a background score because it is a very lengthy process.”

Raghav shared that he had a blast while working on the film and it was a learning experience for him.

“I was very happy making songs for the film. We have a song by Shaan, Sukhi Paaji and I have even sung a song for the film. I am so grateful to be a part of this big franchise. I hope people will give love to the film and we will come up with more and more sequels,” he added.

Mumbai, May 17 (IANS) Rajat Verma, who plays Jay in the show ‘Dahej Daasi’ shared he is quite conscious of his looks, saying he still struggles with seeing himself as a good-looking actor.

Rajat shared that he doesn’t consider himself to be good-looking.

“I don’t consider myself to be a good-looking actor, and I’m quite conscious of my looks. I tend to focus on my flaws whenever I see myself, which makes me avoid looking at myself altogether,” he said.

“Instead, I prefer to focus on my performance when watching scenes, noticing any ups and downs or improvements. Ultimately, what matters most is the perspective of the producers, makers, channel, and audience. If they’re happy with my work, then that’s all that matters. However, I still struggle with seeing myself as a good-looking actor,” added Rajat.

The show is produced by Ravindra Gautam and Raghuvir Shekhawat under their banner Do Dooni 4 Films.

Farah Khan says children prefer entertainment over messages in films

Published

By

Mumbai, May 17 (IANS) Filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan shared how kids love to watch entertaining films and they don’t want messages to be told all the time through films.

Farah, who was present at the launch of the trailer of the upcoming film ‘Chhota Bheem and the Curse of Damyaan’ on Friday shared her views on making more kids-friendly films.

The ‘Main Hoon Na’ director said: “Whatever films I have made, it was loved by the kids. It doesn’t need to be said to be a kid’s friendly film to invite kids to watch the film. Kids love entertainment. They do not want messages to be told. They have schools for that. So, the real challenge is to make entertaining films that children can watch.”

Talking about the trailer of ‘Chhota Bheem’ she added: “It is a fantastic trailer. We all are Chhota Bheem fans. Indian kids need a home-grown superhero. Otherwise, we are always taking them to watch English films like Avengers, and Harry Potter. This is the first live-action film for kids. I want to congratulate the whole team for this film.”
