At today’s ceremony at Bengaluru’s Sree Kanteerava Stadium, Congress leader Siddaramaiah and KPCC president D K Shivakumar were sworn in as the new Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, respectively.
Other Congress MLAs were also sworn in as Ministers in the Siddaramaiah Cabinet. These were G Parameshwara, K H Muniyappa, K J George, M B Patil, Satish Jarkiholi, Priyank Kharge, Ramalinga Reddy, and B Z Zameer Ahmed Khan.
Kamal Haasan, leader of the Makkal Needhi Maiam party, was in attendance at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru for the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected Karnataka government.
Several opposition party leaders, such as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, NCP leader Sharad Pawar, and Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah, attended the swearing-in ceremony alongside Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and Mallikarjun Kharge.
