Mumbai, May 23 (IANS) Actress Divya Khossla, who is gearing up for her upcoming thriller movie ‘Savi’, has shared that the team shot for 45 days at -6 degrees Celsius in the UK.

She also recollected how she had to wear heavy winter clothing in Mumbai in order to maintain continuity while shooting certain parts of the film.

The actress said: “The whole movie was shot in 45 days at -6 degrees Celsius temperature. When you watch the movie, you will feel cold. I personally enjoy working in cold weather and don’t prefer working in the summer.”

She further mentioned, “We had to do a small bit of shoot here in Bombay also when I had to wear the layered jackets and everything and shoot in this hot weather and that was actually more difficult than shooting in the cold.”

The trailer of ‘Savi’ gives a glimpse of a riveting story where Divya’s character carries out a prison break to save her husband (Harshvardhan Rane) from a potential threat to his life after he is framed in a case.

Rohit Chaudhary reveals he had to chew gum for 13-14 hours for 'A Day in Your Life'

Published

Mumbai, June 16 (IANS) Actor Rohit Chaudhary, who plays the role of Yuvraj Bhaiya in the web series ‘A Day in Your Life’, has opened up on the character, sharing how he had to chew gum continuously for 13-14 hours to maintain continuity in his entry shot.

Rohit, who has also appeared in ‘Kanpuriye’, ‘Jabariya Jodi’, ‘Bahut Hua Samman’, ‘Jogira Sara Ra Ra’, and web shows like ‘The Forgotten Army’, ‘Love J Action’, and ‘Gharwapsi’, shared that he loved shooting for this web series as well.

“There are so many great incidents that I can’t pick one. I remember putting chewing gum in my mouth in my entry shot, but after that, to maintain the continuity, I had to chew it for the next 13-14 hours! The next day, I wasn’t able to move my jaw. It was hell!” he said.

Rohit described his character as having serious grey shades, but with a twist.

Talking about his role, Rohit, who also starred in ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, said: “I am playing the role of Yuvraj, or Yuvraj Bhaiya, as most of the characters in the series call me ‘bhaiya’ only. He gives villainous vibes, but he is not a villain. I am not at all like Yuvraj in my real life, so there is no relatable factor.”

“Also, I feel, as an actor, you have more fun playing characters when you can’t relate to them. It sounds absurd, but that’s the truth,” he shared.

When asked if he found the role challenging, he added: “Every day and everything is a challenge for an actor. I often say that it is easy to become an actor, but challenging to continue to be one. The world is changing at a faster pace, and today’s audience, especially the youth, have a short attention span due to the various options available.”

Mumbai, June 16 (IANS) The new episode of ‘Superstar Singer 3’ featured an emotional reunion between contestant Atharva Bakshi and his father, who shared his own passion for singing and the struggles he faced.

In this special Father’s Day episode of the kids’ singing reality show, the young contestants celebrated the ‘superheroes of their lives’ — their fathers — and paid tribute to them with beautiful performances.

Among the moving performances, 12-year-old Atharva’s renditions of ‘Pitah Se Hai Naam Tera’ from the movie ‘Boss’ and ‘Apne To Apne Hote Hain’ from the movie ‘Apne’ left everyone teary-eyed.

Atharva’s performance was made even more special by the presence of his father, Satyendra, who has been both a critic and a support in his singing journey.

Proud of Atharva’s journey on the show, his parents expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped train their son for the singing world. Satyendra shared how he had a passion for singing but faced struggles that made him hesitant to let his son pursue the same path.

It was only at the request of Atharva’s mother that Satyendra allowed Atharva to sing. He became emotional, calling himself the villain in Atharva’s life.

However, Atharva and super judge Neha Kakkar reassured him, reiterating that he is the superhero in Atharva’s life, a father whose support has enabled Atharva to make the family proud in the musical world.

Captain Mohd Danish said: “This was by far the best live performance I have witnessed in my life. Your singing connects our souls to the almighty, and today, I can admit that I am the biggest fan of Atharva. I would say that his father should keep coming to cheer for him because that truly motivates Atharva to perform better.”

Captain Arunita Kanjilal added: “At such a young age, his pitch-perfect performance is amazing; I am truly blessed to have him on my team.”

Further, Atharva’s father, Satyendra, will be seen performing ‘Hume Tumse Pyaar Kitna’ along with his son, making for a beautiful moment for the two of them.
