This is the series of pictures taken by Kanu Gandhi, the grand-nephew of Mahatma Gandhi. Kanu was son of Narandas and Jamuna, born in 1917. Just two years after his birth, the family moved to Gandhi’s Sabarmati Ashram.
Kanu spent his entire childhood in Sabarmati Ashram. Though he wanted to be doctor, he ended up being a promoter of Khadi and Gandhi’s peaceful thoughts on non-violence.
Following pictures were taken by him while practising his skills in photography.
