PTI supporters vandalise Karnal Sher Khan statue (Video)

On May 9, PTI supporters invaded Pakistan’s Army installations in protest at the detention of former prime minister Imran Khan.

During the demonstration, an accused smashed the statue of “Nishan-e-Haider” recipient Captain Karnal Sher Khan, which drew considerable condemnation from the populace.

Arzoo Kazmi, a Pakistani journalist, denounced this incident on Twitter and dubbed Pakistan a “shameless” country.

Although the vandalism of the statue of Sher Khan occurred outside the Punjab Regiment Centre in Mardan, the suspect has been taken into custody by Mardan police, according to ARY news.

Sher Khan, a well-known Pakistani military officer and cherished national hero, was assigned to the 12th NLI Regiment during the Kargil Conflict and was killed in battle.

One Miyazaki Mango sold at Rs. 10,600 in Birbhum, West Bengal (Video)

One mango was sold at auction for Rs 10,600 in the Birbhum district of West Bengal. 

It was a unique variety of mango called a Miyazaki, which is indigenous to Japan.

According to accounts, 8 of these mangoes have now sprouted in Birbhum after a local guy brought some saplings back from his trip to Japan a couple of years ago.

On June 2, one of the eight mangoes was put up for sale.
