Samantha shares beautiful peek into her 'heart' – Chennai

Mumbai, May 6 (IANS) Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who is an ardent social media user, on Monday gave a glimpse of her ‘heart’–beautiful Chennai.

Born and brought up in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Samantha, who was last seen in romantic drama ‘Kushi’ took to Instagram, and shared a video, wherein we can see the vast sea and the beach.

She captioned it as “My (white heart emoji)”. Samantha gave the geotag of Chennai, India.

Meanwhile, Samantha who celebrated her 37th birthday on April 28th announced her debut Telugu feature film tentatively titled ‘Bangaram’ under her banner Tralala Moving Pictures.

The film is scheduled to hit theatres in 2025.

She also has ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ in the pipeline.

Adrija on replacing Sana Sayyad in 'Kundali Bhagya': 'Challenge lies in ensuring continuity'

Mumbai, May 29 (IANS) Actress Adrija Roy, who has replaced Sana Sayyad as Palki in the show ‘Kundali Bhagya’, feels that the challenge lies in ensuring continuity and not letting the viewers feel an abrupt shift in the personality.

The upcoming episodes will introduce an all-new Dr Palki Khurana portrayed by Adrija, as Sana is all set to embrace motherhood.

“I have received a warm welcome from the people of the show, the co-actors, the director, the production team… All are great, hardworking individuals, and I am truly excited to join the team. ‘Kundali Bhagya’ is an iconic show, and the way Palki’s character is written is what excited me to take up this role,” Adrija said.

“When you take on a character previously played by another actor, the challenge lies in ensuring continuity and not letting the viewers feel an abrupt shift in the personality. I will try my best to entertain the audience, and give my 100 per cent. I am really looking forward to a positive response from the viewers,” she added.

Mumbai, May 29 (IANS) The lead actor of the upcoming thriller ’10:29 Ki Aakhri Dastak’, Rajveer Singh, feels that supernatural shows have become a key form of entertainment now.

“I believe that the supernatural elements we see in movies and TV shows are purely for entertainment. Acting, for me, is an art, and my job is to bring the storyline to life,” Rajveer said.

“These supernatural themes can often have a heavy influence on people and lead to uncertain misconceptions, but our intention is to provide thrilling and enjoyable content to the audience, and not promote any false beliefs,” he added.

He actor also said that the show ’10:29 Ki Aakhri Dastak’ has a unique storyline designed to captivate the viewers with each episode while also offering some valuable lessons.

“We’ve paid attention to every detail — from the sets to the performances. I’m incredibly excited to embark on this journey and share it with the audience. I believe the viewers will find it thoroughly entertaining and won’t be disappointed,” he said.

Taking to X, Shah Rukh shared a picture from the post-final celebrations with the caption: “To my boys…. my team…. my champs…’these blessed candles of the night’… My Stars of KKR. I cannot do a lot of things and you cannot do them all either…but together we manage most of them. That’s what @KKRiders stood for. Simply being together. Raashii Khanna says it's not tough to act in a horror film, but directing one is hard

Mumbai, May 29 (IANS) Raashii Khanna, who has essayed the role of Dr Maya in the Tamil comedy horror film ‘Aranmanai 4’, shared that it’s not tough to act in a horror film, but the direction is very tough.

Raashii was present in Mumbai along with her co-star Tamannaah Bhatia, director Sundar C. and producer Khushbu Sundar ahead of the movie’s release in Hindi.

While interacting with the media, Raashii, who last featured in ‘Yodha’ shared: “I love watching horror films, so for the first time in ‘Aranmanai 3’ I had watched how horror films are made. It’s not that tough to act in a horror film, but the direction is very tough.”

“The captain of our ship, Sundar C. sir is the master of that craft. He knows exactly what he wants and how he wants it. In this film both horror and comedy are strengths, not one overpowers the other, so I feel it is the perfect horror comedy film,” said Raashii.

She concluded: “Apart from me and Tamannaah, there are wonderful comedians who have done amazing work in this film.”

Directed by Sundar C., ‘Aranmanai 4’ stars Sundar himself, alongside Santhosh Prathap, Ramachandra Raju, Kovai Sarala, and Delhi Ganesh among others. It is produced by Khushbu Sundar under the banner of Avni Cinemax.

The Hindi version is scheduled to release in the theatres on May 31.

Meanwhile, Raashii also has ‘The Sabarmati Report’, ‘Telusu Kada’ and ‘Methavi’ in the pipeline.
