Reports indicate that two earthquakes occurred in the region’s northeast on Friday morning.
Two of them struck Myanmar and Manipur.
At 3:52 a.m., a quake with a magnitude of 5.2 was recorded by the National Centre for Seismology, which was located in Myanmar. The depth is 140 kilometers.
Earthquakes were felt in Guwahati, Assam.
It was 10 kilometers deep when the second 3.8-magnitude quake hit Manipur.
7:53 AM, according to the report.
There have been no reports of casualties or damage to property.
Earthquakes are rather prevalent in the Northeast because of the region’s high seismic activity.
